SOCKSY BOY

Silkscreen printed 100% cotton unisex shirt. 

Meet SOCKSY BOY, the shirt for anyone who's ever lost a sock in the wash and decided to make peace with it. Playful, a little mismatched, entirely unbothered. This one isn't about the sea so much as it's about not taking yourself too seriously.

When we asked Tina for a few designs she also shared SOCKSY BOY and we couldn’t resist printing it as well. In her own words, “It is about the feeling of being comfortable. It's inspired by a pair of stripy socks I’ve had for years and love wearing to my dance practice. A good pair of socks makes me very happy. The drawing dances around the shirt, dances around your waist. The idea of continuity and the fabric wrapping around the body made me want to create a kind of pattern. I really enjoy the soothing rhythm of lines and gestures”.

As always, our unisex shirts are made from 100% cotton upcycled textiles. The threads we use are 100% organic cotton. And the buttons are collected from many friends in our community.

• Artist: On this piece we worked together with Tina Siuda. Tina is originally from Poland and calls Porto home nowadays. She is an image maker and risograph printer. And to us she is a woman with bold and quirky illustrations in her mind.
• Colour: White shirt with chocolate print --> (Colours may vary slightly from product image. Handmade means unique touches.)
• Sizes: Small (S) Length:72.5cm / Chest:57cm, Medium (M) Length:73.5cm / Chest:59.5cm, Large (L) Length:74.5cm / Chest:62cm
• Care: For best care and preservation, we recommend hand washing our shirts. Sometimes, hanging it outside in the fresh air is the best you can do for your shirts.
• Model: Gabriel is 188cm tall and wearing a size M. Charis is 169cm tall and wearing a size S.
