Our PITEIRA POET shirt is inspired by heritage. It’s about not forgetting your birthplace. The surroundings of your first steps. First memories and first mistakes and maybe even your first kiss. It invites all of us to think back to our own birthplaces. And try to reconnect with the elements and most basic memories that surrounded us during those first years.

Vasco Aguas created just that. Inspired by his first steps in the Algarve, surrounded by the Piteira plant. Little did he know about the journey life would take him on. The places he would visit to honour other peoples birthplaces. Sharing their stories, curating their life and craft. And along the way mastering many fabric techniques himself. We are grateful he wanted to share his embroidery craft with us.

As always our unisex shirts are made from 100% cotton upcycled textiles. The threads we use are 100% organic cotton. And the buttons are collected from many friends in our community.

• Artist: On this piece we worked together with Vasco Aguas. A creative genius who excels in the curation of art, but is never out of touch with the art of creation himself. 
• Color: White (Colors may vary slightly from product image. Handmade means unique touches)
• Sizes: Small (S) Length:68cm / Chest:54cm, Medium (M) Length:70cm / Chest:56cm, Large (L) Length: 72 cm / Chest:58cm
• Care: For best care and preservation, we recommend to hand wash our shirts. Sometimes hanging it outside in the fresh air is the best you can do for your shirts. 
• Model: Vasco is 174 cm tall and is wearing a size L. 
• PRE-ORDER: After purchase we expect 2 weeks to get the shirt ready and shipped your way. We will contact you personally about the process after your order.
