Embroidered 100% cotton unisex shirt 

We often talk about supporting upcoming artists. Auntie Fernanda is by far the coolest story of an upcoming artist we worked with. With her 86 years she has embroidered all her life and she is still doing it today, just for herself working on her craft. 

So we decided to change that and give her our small stage. We asked her if she wanted to embroider on our shirts and gladly for us all she accepted. What makes this story even more unique is that Auntie Fernanda embroiders from memory as her eyes have lost some sharpness.

We couldnt think of another name to call our shirt than AUNTIE FERNANDA. Inspired by her life of embroidering traditional Portuguese patterns she did just that. Hand-embroidered from memory the patterns flow over our shirts. Not mathematically placed by a machine but embroidered with purpose from memory where the feeling felt right. And boy these shirts feel right.

As always our unisex shirts are made from 100% cotton upcycled textiles. The threads we use are 100% organic cotton. And the buttons are collected from many grandma’s and pa’s in our community.

• Care: For best care and preservation, we recommend to hand wash our shirts. Sometimes hanging it outside in the fresh air is the best you can do for your shirts. 
• Model: Niko is 169 cm tall and wearing a size S. Marta is 160 cm tall and wearing a size S.
